For five years Klaipėda Culture Communication Centre “Kultūrpolis” (KCCC) is trying to convince the city’s community that communication changes the attitude by 180 degrees – artistic experiments and discoveries, according to the KCCC director art critic Ignas Kazakevičius, open windows to the space where intrigue curves are drawn, creative acceleration coefficient is in place, proportions of potentiality increase, as do also other substandard dimensions of reality.

On April 17, at 17 o’clock, in gallery “Baroti”, the Klaipėda Culture Communication Centre “Kultūrpolis” will present previously unexhibited series of Berlin photographs and photoalbum “36 frames. Raimundas Urbonas” by one of the most interesting Klaipėda photographers Raimundas Urbonas (1963-1999).

On Wednesday, August 13,  “Kultūrpolis”, organizers of the free summer screenings “Cinema under the open sky 15 min. past nine”, in support to the legitimate freedom and peace aspirations of Georgia, change the program and invite everyone to the screening of a film “Repentance” by Georgian director Tengiz Abuladze.

On August 8, at 18 o’clock, val. KCCC “Kultūrpolis” invites viewers to a momentary acquaintance with the far Japan - country of mountains, sakuras and geishas. An open art action will take place in the “Arts courtyard”.  Artists will diffuse watercolours according to the motifs of painting “Pheasant in the evening rain” by Japanese artist Isoda Koryusai.
